Thanks Dave !
NB. I have had a reply on DecLegacy from Dave McGuire with a link to the drivers.
But I could really do with a second card to link more of my museum PC’s.
I have an IBM AT PC which has a DEPCA Ethernet card.
The original hard disk has failed and so I have reloaded a new system disk with DOS 3.3 and Windows 2.11 I would like to use the Ethernet card to enable me to connect to a network again.
I assume I will need a DOS driver to do this.

I have loaded Windows (286) v 2.11.
It runs fine and with the simple test I have done so far and is surprisingly fast.
It’s probably quicker than 3.1 on my PS2 🤭
I am trying to use a DEC Ethernet card in this 286.
Do you know what version of DOS will support this card.
I may end up having to install and dual boot something like SCO Unix to use this to load software quickly onto the hard drive.
What Version of Windows would be suitable to install on this AT?
I already have Windows 1.01 loaded onto a 5150 and a 5160.
I was hoping to install a Version of Windows that would typically be installed on an AT back in the day.
I am trying to load Windows 3.1 onto my IBM PC/AT.
I get error when I load the Windows 3.1 Setup Disk.
ERROR: no available extended memory was found .
XMS driver not installed.
I assume Windows 3.1 needs more than 640K of memory to load. Is that correct?
When I run check-it on the AT I get a...
I guess Bill Gates was trying to catch up with Steve Jobs at the time.
The early Windows 1 documentation was very good especially compared to the later puny efforts.
Proof of concept ?
I was surprised how easy it was for the current generation pick up using Windows on the PC’s in my collection.
At the time I found it hard to use the mouse and graphics interface as I had only used dumb terminal interfaces.
Here are some photos of Windows 1 and early PC’s...
