Altair 8800 resurrection

I have been storing my dad's ancient Altair 8800 for decades. I would like to sell it, but I am afraid to turn it on without consulting someone first. I recall the way it was done initially-flipping dipswitches in some sequence, but I don't have the guts to try it myself. Any advice on cleaning first? If there was someone in this forum in Portland, Oregon that would be helpful.
