From the mid- or late-1970s. This is a tiny logo screened onto a board by a (different) known vendor. I assume this is the insignia of a PCB production house, but have not been able to find any reference to this name anywhere. Anyone got any leads? Thanks!

Ive tried every google-foo trick I know and came up with nothing... Not even listed in BYTE anywhere.

What card was it etched on?

I really appreciate your taking the time to look around! The card is for a Sphere machine, dated 1975 but possibly mfg'd a bit later. (Not S100 but the right era for industrial process.) Sphere was based in Salt Lake City; I also came up short on newspaper and business searches for Utah etc. (There seems to have been an "Electronic Service Provider (ESP) Inc." out of Seattle that did do PCB work but as far as I can tell they weren't even founded until much later, ~2001.)

To be honest, I'd check out the contact details for the Seattle site a LOT more.

Seems too much of a 'fluke' that this link is exactly the right sort of business.

Maybe one or other of the dates you refer to is way out?

I tend to agree with your spidey sense, but even the Washington state Secretary of State thinks that business was created in 2001. (The board is unambiguously from the 70s.) I'll keep looking. It seems unlikely but maybe the same business relocated across state lines at that time.

I'd have the same first instinct, but there are a lot of reasons why a corporate entity might change. Bankruptcy, reorganizing (LLC vs. "C" corp), spinning off something or being spun off, etc. I don't know how likely those are to have happened in this case, and I don't know if any of them would leave an indicator in the public records in a way that would show up on the Sect'y of State's website, assuming that's how you looked them up.
