Cant get the original Apple SCSI scanner to work with Mac SE

So I have the whole collection of platinum white striped SE era hardware.
The external hard drives, the tape drive, the CDROM drive, the laserwriter and the scanner.

Spent weeks making the scanner whole (3D printing gears etc)

Now its time to get it working software wise, everything Ive downloaded from the Reppository,the Garden,
No dice.

Anyone know which software to use?
 
Assuming this is the black and white Apple OneScanner, I think the init came on the floppy with the basic acquire program.

Is the software saying the scanner is not responding or that it can't detect the scanner?

it may be the second one that did color, Ill check model number today and report back.
So far every piece of software I've tried either so it wasn't compatible with a 68000 processor or couldn't find the scanner

I checked, I have two:

M1381 - 8 bit 256 Greys (not color)
A9M0337 - 4 bit 16 greys (also not color)

If anybody can point me to the software that will run on either one of these via SCSI on a Mac SE 68000 that would be great

The color scanner I can totally see why it won't work on the SE but the B/W model should work, as per the bulletin:

System Requirements-------------------
- Macintosh system software version 6.0.7 or later
- HyperCard 2.0 to use HyperScan 2.0
- Appropriate SCSI cabling

Compatibility-------------
- All Macintosh computers
- Most Macintosh applications, including word processing, presentation, graphics, database, and page layout programs
- PICT, TIFF, EPS, and MacPaint file formats

I'm pretty sure the default SCSI ID is 2.
 
I found some software but they are .dart files. Trying to figure how to extract them so I can get them onto the SE
 
@joeventura If you have suitable software on the Macintosh side doing serial port file transfers should be pretty easy.

The Mac serial ports are technically RS-422, but I understand it's relatively simple to get sufficient compatibility for a low speed, short distance RS-232 communication with just a few tweaks.

Hopefully the product you linked just works and solves your problem entirely. It's always nice to run across an easy drop-in solution here and there.
