I have a question about the VCF East Swap Meet happening on 2/26 - will there be a free table? I have some things, like a non-working VIC-20, that I would not sell, but would be happy to leave for taking?

We are not going to do a free pile because then we would be responsible for disposing of anything that we didn't want. We would accept donations of select items that we could sell later.

Wasnt going to have a spot, just wanted to give them away. Dozens of issues, Like a door prize to anyone who wants them.

Things I’m looking for at the swap meet:

1. Cheap ADB keyboard for testing and Apple IIGS that I got a while back.

2. An old 80286 or similar with a working 5.25 floppy for archiving some old disks. High density is fine since I’ll be using it for reading mostly.

VCF has collected several items over the last three years of events
that have not sold over multiple events which will be offered for free
in a "free pile" at this weekend's Swap Meet and this is the last
opportunity to rescue these items as anything left will be recycled.

Sellers who have paid for a spot will have first opportunity access to
this "free pile" before the start of the event and in all cases items
are available on a strict first come first serve basis.

Additionally, both sellers and buyers are welcome to put items in this
"free pile" with the understanding of certain rules.

RULES FOR THE VCF FREE PILE:
1. Please ask a VCF staff member for permission at the event to put
any items in the free pile.
2. Please understand the policy for the free pile is that anything you
leave which remains at the end of the event must be taken home by you
(or someone you designate). VCF cannot be held responsible for storing
or recycling it.

Thanks and happy free hunting!
