Gotek adapter for Full Height Drives (5.25")

I like my Ender 3 but i'm a tinkerer at heart and a Ender 3 fits that perfectly, plenty of mods and hardware upgrades available.

If you want one that's "just works" out of the box it's probably not for you.

If you want one that "just works" then 3D printing is probably not for you. :)

That does seem to be the case. Had all sorts of fun with the ones at the museum but I never get the time there to get it sorted.

I have a gift of £1000 to spend after working for 40 years with the same company (Yay !) but for tax reasons it has to be bought through the companies website with 'approved' suppliers. So wondering if the 5M pro is a good choice.

A ruby head if you're going to print anything with Carbon in it. Or Steel at the very least.

Have a look at how well it prints when you have a lot of support structure. You can get removable support structure, that dissolves in limonene or water depending on what its for, but being able to just remove the support easily is really important, especially if you use filaments other than ABS/PLA

I got have owned several filament printers over the past 5 or so years and it is definitely hit or miss with good finished prints. several months ago I got a small resin printer. it worked so well and was so simple that I wanted a larger one. I got...

ANYCUBIC Photon Mono X2 Resin 3D Printer, 9.1'' 4K+ HD Mono Screen LCD SLA Large Resin Printer with Upgraded Light Source, Dual Linear Guide, Anti-Scratch Film, Printing Size 7.74'' x 4.83'' x 7.87''

from Amazon for about $275. it is so simple and works great.

resin is not as durable as filament, but the finish and speed of printing is amazing. the time to print depends on the layer count, not the amount of material. I have not used my filament printers since.
