Rescued a SMS 1000 system. Trying to get it up and running. Has an M8186 processor, a 256KB Camintonn memory card and a Camintonn DLV11-J clone. With a terminal connected to the serial card I get into the processor ODT just fine. However I cant get into the SMS foundation card serial port. The cab kit is missing for the 2 foundation serial ports. The 20 pin ribbon cable from the backplane is there, but no bulkhead mount for the 2 RS232 ports.
Does anyone know what the pinout spec is for the foundation serial port cable? It is not noted in the manual on bitsavers. I can get through the sense menus from the operator panel, but via serial is really needed I think. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As far as I remember, it is exactly like two DLV11-J connectors. The first 10 pins are port A0 and the second 10 pins are port A1. As if you plug two 10 pin connectors of a DLV11-J next to each other.

This is the original bulkhead from my SMS 1000 Model 40. As you see, it is designed for four ports. When you take a look at the PCB, you see that the Ports are routed one next to each other on the 40 pin / 20 pin connector.
