Be careful to get 3.3v parts. 5v parts will not work reliably.

Also this machine has a 256k L2 cache already. The sockets are for expanding it to 512k.

Wrong type of chip, that's a normal sized DIP chip, you need the half width ones. And yeah, that is way too slow. 70ns is only good to 14.28 MHz.

I found a SB AWE64 ISA and a matrox mystique PCI, still awayting the dallas chip to arrive

now I am ordering the l2 cache from aliexpress, and trying to find the exact same pentium to avoid compatibility issues

still looking for some scsi hds , but omg righ now it already it already soubds like a 747 taking off
