KIM-1 repair

I added the 12V supply after taking the pictures, that would have been too easy!

Thanks that helps a lot, I'm now where it asks to check 1742h, in my case it shows C7 (not C8). If I start a tape, sometimes I can see the 8.

This is with E-X at 2.5V using the included cal program.
I noticed that using this setting I need to crank the volume up a lot to even see pulses.

I'll try letting it generate and record the test tone next
 
Could anyone please with a working KIM-1 check if:

- 1742h is 07 or 87 but not C7
- The tone coming out on pin P after typing the test tone program in the blog post is 3.6 kHz because I'm getting 1.95 kHz
