Lanier Universal Floppy Drive Exerciser

Anyone ever come across one of these before? I found it years ago at a hamfest. I'll plan to dump the EPROM soon, but any documentation or other info would be appreciated. It's certainly unclear how one would operate it as it sits.

Lanier made office equipment, such as dictation machines, word processors, etc. In 1985, they were purchased by Harris. I can't tell you much about your little box, but the PROM should give you a lot of clues.
