My friend down the street, FNG Bill just backed his Ram up the driveway and dropped off a sorta vintage looking Zenith 25" console. Dunno if the set still has all the majik smoke inside, but the cabinet is f'n bootiful, kinda a darkish pecan finish, so even if I hafta gut it out, the box is a definite keeper. Might make a nice record cabinet if I hang a pair of doors on it. OTOH, my ol Mitsubishi is prolly on it's last legs. Blew the left channel bout 3 yrs ago, then another year, and the right went too. No prob, just gave me the incentive to finally run it thru the amp. Then, last fall, the TV gave up the smoke too, (tuner, I think), so now I got the dtv converter running thru the aux vid inputs, Actually even looks a little better this way, shoulda done it sooner. Anyway, I fear that may not last long, so a new old piece o sh!t ain't a bad thing to have around, I guess.
