I have a pair of 1702 monitors with the common issue of the little control panel door missing on both of them. I know there are .stl files to 3d print news ones, but color matching filament is a pain, in not outright impossible. I am OK with spray painting them, but can anyone recommend a brand and color that is a close match for monitor itself so it isn't to far off?

The original color is RAL 1019. Supposedly Krylon K02740007 is similar but darker.

The problem with color matching old beige plastic is that it's in varying states of yellowing. So even if you perfectly match the original color, it may not match your monitor. For the closest match, you would need to take the monitor (or part of the case) to an automotive paint supplier and have them scan it, mix up the color and put it in a spray can for you. (Many NAPA stores can also do this.) If you go this route make sure you get a low-luster finish like satin/eggshell, not gloss or semigloss.

This I am aware of, and I am over all not to concerned, I just want to get it close. Even if I take in part of the case, in a few years time it likely will not match anyways as it continues to yellow. I just want to get something close so when I am looking the monitor it isn't to mis-matched
