RARE!. Time Bandit on the sanyo mbc 550 video if anyone is interested.

I have also added a sanyo mbc 550 video of Time Bandit Made for this rather obscure system. I have other good games for it as well. I wanted to post this because I only see screen captures of the 550 with green text and rarely ever colour graphics that show what it could do.

Although I have to admit the sound is nothing special.

The graphics are noticeably higher-res than the traditional DOS version. Nice work, never knew this existed.

640 x 200 by 8 colours. Every pixel is addressable by any of the 8 colours. Probably the highest res version that was made.

Ok, so look at this webarchive post re: Sanyo Time Bandit:

This post indicates those graphics are of the Sanyo version of Time Bandit. But, clearly they are not. In fact, they look like someone doctored the CoCo version and just added color to the existing sprite shapes of that version. See comparison here -- where I mislabeled the gfx I speak of as Sanyo gfx, based on the above blog post.
