"Stay logged in" has stopped working

A day or so I had to log back in. No big deal, and I made sure that "Stay logged in" was checked. Logged in via Passkey with no issues.

Today it's logged me out again.

So I logged back in again, making sure "Stay logged in" is checked. Logged in via Passkey with no issues.

Is "Stay logged in" only supposed to work if you log in with UN/PW credentials?
 
It's working for me.
Under chrome I logged in, navigated around, left the forum to do other things for a few hours and came back and it still had em logged in.
Under firefox I navigated the site (was already logged in), closed the browser down entirely, reopened and navigated back to the forum and it retained my session.
 
Your problem may be with your VPN settings. No logging issues have been reported here lately.
 
VPN works fine for everything including this site. However, when I switch VPN servers (or go from a non-VPN connnection to a VPN connection), it logs me out. Every time.

Seems like the forum s/w is configured to do this... but why?

VCF is not configured to accommodate individual server or VPN connections. Worldwide and presently, there doesn't seem to be any issues like yours. I would suggest that you tweak your system setup.
 
I recently had an issue where Microsoft Edge managed to turn on the "clear cookies after every session" feature. Probably down to a recent update (which invariably clears the cookie cache), not restoring the previous setting after doing its thing.

I hear ya, but this is the only website that does this. I'll try on other PCs and see what happens there.
 
Well it's back. Have had to log back in (via passkey) about 4 times in the past few days. I have checked to ensure the browser does NOT have anything set to clear cookies on exit; also this site is storing 4 cookies on my PC. And of course I am ensuring that "Keep me logged in" is checked (it always it, when I have to use the login page.

Really annoying. This is the ONLY website that does this.
 
Through a weekend reboot and even a crashed browser session I'm not seeing the forum kicking me off and telling me to sign back in so..... *shrug*
 
Haven't been logged out for over a year... Do you have some sort of antivirus/antimalware software installed?
