As to topic entails, I am asking for advice what would be a decent device for reading vintage mags in PDF? My nook touch sucks for anything with graphics, and not a fan of my Fire tablets, they are still too small. Whats a cheap device that would support enough storage to store multiple magazines, over decades of usable material. Think example all of BYTE. Also has to run some sort of web browser enough to run Total Hardware 99. Prefer it to be vintage, say p3 era if possible. I'm thinking the screen has to be size of a legal sheet of paper or somewhere around that, as I am getting older , and my eyesight isn't exactly improving LOL.

Love to hear all of your ideas on this. And yes IK i can just get an ipad and use wifi, but thats not what I want. I want something more vintage and obscure, and for it to contain everything locally.

I'm a serious fan of the PIIIm/Pentium M Fujitsu Stylistics.

Wacom digitizer, very large screen, low power, Windows XP Tablet and MiniPCI wireless so you can swap out the 802.11b cards with B/G/N cards.
I use mine for notes and PDF files but you should still make an older browser work with a few of the online doc sites.

I have the grand daddy of that, used it as a VOIP server for like 8 years straight. The celeron 500mhz version. Love the idea actually, thank you!
