I’m trying to identify the board (and the company that made it) in the pictures you’ll find at the link below. It is an 8K PROM board with auto-jump using PHANTOM to disable RAM. Any hints would be appreciated.

Note: the board in question is no longer at the link in my previous post. I have since identified the board and scanned a hardcopy manual for it. It is a PROM/Boot board made by Byte.

It is great that you found the manual for that and copied/saved it.

I would guess this sort of board was intended for the Altair computers. Could there be an application for one in a SOL-20 ? though probably not because they auto re-boot to the O/S after a power failure.

With the auto jump feature, it was primarily for S100 machines without a front panel. In my case it was in a Vector 1 computer that used this board for auto jump instead of having Vector’s own PROM/RAM board.
