While looking for support on my Mtrox Rainbow Runner I doscovered that it came bundled with a videoconferencing app called VDOPhone.
A few google searches later and I discovered this was the program I had been searching for on and off for the last two years. So as long as you have a 33.6k modem you can do an H.324 call to ANY regular Videophone (like the AT&T 2500 which is one of the most common videophones around).
Unfortunately it appears that I can't find it anywhere on the internet these days aside from one shady site that says the latest version, 3.3, was released in 2010 and it's still a hot download and freedownloadcenter.com which says it's shareware (and version 3.5 as of 1998 ) but can be bought for $100 by clicking on a dead link.
