XT IDE throwing error after Ctrl-Alt-Del

as the hargle in question, i'm a bit surprised that anyone is still using that BIOS, but also feeling great that the old v11 version is still alive and kicking and not dropping a bit or corrupting a filesystem after all these years. I'm not even using that BIOS myself, except on the PCjr version.

AFAIK most of the improvements to the XUB in recent years are targeted at AT class systems and above, if you're using an XT you'd probably not notice

I don't run my XT systems all that often--one has the original XTIDE board I posted a photo of years ago, with a CF card attached (I used a right-angle header for the IDE connector); the other has the XTIDE-CF versionr with the Xilinx CPLD on it that I built up when James was just testing it out. Both work just fine. I dedicated my old 192MB Hitachi CF cards to them--and they're still working.
The second XT had used a Quantum 36MB (Q540) drive that was starting to get a bit twitchy.
