You know what seems to be extra rare? Pentium II and III Xeons.

Multi slot/socket server boards can generally work with any number of CPUs installed. I've had quad and octa socket servers with odd numbers of CPUs installed. The last one I had was some Dell Poweredge with three Itanium CPUs installed because the 4th socket was broken.
I'm not sure why but the prospect of putting 5 CPUs in an 8 socket board amuses me more than should be strictly legal.

you guys are WAYYYYY to slow.

I let that sit all morning.

Thanks to all the savings I have from not having carpet, this was a "OKAY" price. And for the record, 99% of the decision for the purchase was because I don't own any 133mhz slot-2 boards. I'm curious to drag race the 933mhz "xeon" verses the consumer 933 chip.
