Hi Doug,

I see you have an interest in Magnolia Micro. I have a MM floppy controller card for the H89 (I think -- that's what Herb J. told me).I don't know anything about Heath gear. I'm wondering if I might be able to sell it, and where I can list it for sale? I'd rather not mess with ePay. I suppose I could part it out for the chips (WD1797 + TTL), but I'd rather find it a good home.
Just watched the documentary tonight. Lots of great interviews with some legendary people! Congratulations on releasing it!
JK,

I have two Green 753 NiMH batteries packaged up for you. One Sanyo and one Panasonic. I am hoping that one or the other can provide you with a working circuit board etc. So I need your shipping address. I didn't keep a list of site names vs. shipping addresses and so need your address again so I can figure the shipping cost.

If you can come up working batteries I'll be buying a few myself.

Thanks,

dgb
Hi, a while back you mentioned this:
One thing I have been doing here is taking out the two memory boards on the CPU and replacing the 64k chips with 256k chips. Then you have a system with a base of 1mb of memory right off the bat.

Which 256k RAM chip are you using and where did you get them? I have a spare RAM card I might use to try this. Thanks.
Pm me for my address. Unless you are going to be in the Chicago area or near by and we can meet somewhere in between.
Greetings from France,
I've seen our (old) post about the Know Drive memory card by Abacus. I do have this card too. Have you found the softwarre ? If so, I'll be interested in.
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Antony
Hi, I just read your excellent Emotional Microprocessor stories. Those are very interesting. My start in microprocessors was the ELF2 kit which used the RCA CDP1802 CPU.
It was great to program as a first trainer. I think it is still in production for controls.

Thank you very much. Sorry I could not write about every processor. IMHO the fate of every processor deserves a story. These little things are real fantastic!
On the drives, any 40 or 80 megabytes CONNER hard-drives? I could use or two of those for my Toshiba systems.

I have a number of Conners, but not sure of the capacity.
Mockingbird,

I hope you can make one good drive out of your drive plus this one. Email me your zip code and I can work out shipping costs. Drive will be well packed. Drive is sold As-Is since I can test without the latch assembly.

I take Paypal for payment.

Hi rhyoraptor. It’s Christmas and I wish a new old stock Kim-1 computer from Santa Clause 😊Seriously, I have just found this thread. Are you still got one Kim-1 left for sale?

Merry Christmas 🎅

Hi from BC. I used to work for DEC Canada (mostly 12-bit & 18-bit support). Just a note to let you know I'd be interested in purchasing your TU60 drive if you ever want to sell it. I already have a TA8E controller, cables and cassettes plus a few TU60 spare parts.
Let me know if you need a RL-11 Unibus controller (and first cable) for RL01 - RL02 drives.

Hi, thanks for reaching out to me. At this point in time I don't think I want to sell it.. I'd prefer to get it working with the rest of the machine. But you never know. If you ever want to sell your TU60 controller, cables and cassettes, I'd be interested in buying them :).
Hi Coder,

I noticed you're familiar with the NEC Powermate Portable SX?

Would you happen to know the voltages to expect on the three HV wires with reference to ground?

Thank you and Kind Regards
David Kitson.
Noticed in the forum you had the 1.00.00 BIOS ROM that you upgraded when you were testing an XT-IDE with your Tandy 1000 -- would you still happen to have the 1.00.00 BIOS ROM? It's not floating around on the internet, and a group of friends and I are trying to reverse-engineer the copy-protection on a game that only works properly on the 1.00.00 ROM (mine is 1.02.00).

I have the original rom, and recently acquired a slightly older 1000 also with 1.00.00 but spread over 2 chips. I'll try to get it dumped for you.
