I've been trying in vain for the past few hours to find a basic list of LOGO commands for the Commodore 64 on the Internet... Does anyone know where I can find one? I came across my old LOGO disk, along with a disk full of LOGO programs that I wrote, but I can't for the life of me remember how to load any of them in LOGO. I did figure out that the "CATALOG" command will display the disk directory, but the command "LOAD" is not recognized.

Any help would be *greatly* appreciated! :)

not positive but....

to mything

(logo stuff here)

end

then you just

mything

to run it, that's what I almost remember anyway...

like forth

Yep, that's it - I just tried a free "UCB logo" and that is how you do it....

define your "words" then say the word to run it.

here's a nice logo program "mines"

No, I didn't write it, it was in with all the examples.

That's a good list of Logo commands... but what I'm really trying to find is a Commodore-specific command list. Through trial-and-error, I did discover that the command to load a file from a disk is:

READ "filename

Now, if I could just figure out what the command is to clear the text box at the bottom of the screen when Logo is in Turtle Graphics mode, I can run my programs the way they were meant to be... :)

Did we ever answer the original question?
(ie. how to get Logo to load a program from disk).

I'd like to help but the only version of LOGO I have is for the Atari 520ST
and it uses pulldown menues for those functions.
