Hi, it's me again :)

I need a few little odds and ends for some of the Macs I'm working on, so, if they're laying around in your "should throw this crap out" bin, I'm interested

What I'm looking for is a couple of drive carriers (those little metal things that you screw the drive to and then it snaps in the plastic drive holder). I don't know if they are two different types, but I need one for a floppy and one for a HD.

Oh, and one of those short HD SCSI cables would come in handy too.

While you're digging, if anyone has a DB-15 M/M cable to go between a Mac Monitor and the Mac, I have a monitor with a detachable one and someone detached it.

Lastly, 3 of those plastic card covers for the back of the Quadro/Centris 650s would finish off the unit just perfectly.

Any help getting these parts would be greatly apprciated.

Thanks

I should still have a short scsi ribbon (about 3-5 inches long I think, could check when I find it) somewhere around here, if I do I'll mail it to you in envelope for free (it wouldn't be worth paying back a few cents of postage) ok? :p

thought I'll post an update regardingly of the date

still can't find where I kept these few old scsi hds I knew I had because I know I had one or two of these shorty ribbons hanging off these...if you still want them well I'll make a note for if I finally find them in the garage which seem to be the last place left I haven't checked when I felt like it yet

:)

Damn! I just threw out one of those monitor cables today, but you're bummin'! I ain't about to go out digging thru the six-foot-high pile of garbage bags out at the kerb to find it again. You'll just have to wait for the next one...

Oh yeah, "Right-AFTER-the-nick-of-time" T LOL

He likes to save things up until he has to camp outside and then figures it might be time to get rid of some stuff. :)

Thanks for taking the time to post that you already threw it out though. ROTF

I have lived in the same house since I was 5, so thats like 33 years. I figure if I got into collecting computers back when I was a teen (instead of 2002) I would have burried my entire block in parts by now.

My house now has been my permanent address since age 4, so that is 37 years. Probably the cornerstones are resting on some IBM systems now. Even having to move out some systems to make way for family (wife & kids) moving in.
