i bought a suitcase mounted mes6800 about a year ago.
the interior looks like the mek6800d1
the mounting says:
m.p.u. evaluation card
mc6800
motorola
computer laboratory geneva switzerland
It has a xc6800 chip in it, and a few other xc chips.
Date on hardware is 10-10-1974
date in booklet varies from 74 till 75
Can someone tell me more about it?
Is it a preassembled mek6800?
Hope one of you can help me

1974, is pretty old
and the schematic diagram dates from 27 may 74.
But you think its from a sales man?
cause i cant find any info on a mes6800, or a preassembled mek6800
You know what i think is strange, it has a sticker on the inside of the briefcase that says:

"This system is sold for evaluation and design of the motorola microprocessor family. We are not set-up to service this equipment in the field and our warranty is limited to the one given to the motorola semiconductors being used in this system."

For a former salemans it seems strange to me to have such a sticker.

didn't try mine out either,
it didn't come with a keyboard but what the #
it set me back just 35 euro's,
that sounded like a bargain to me.
ill try to post a picture tommorow
