You know, it just slipped my mind!
I got an apple IIe with moniter, Duodisk, and printer this summer. how can I tell what type of moniter I have?

If it's green monochrome, could I be able to find a color one? would I need to add a card that goes into the apple IIe to give it direct color moniter support?

The poor thing has been sitting unused in my basement, and it's all hooked up and everything.

Try looking on the back and searching for that model number online. Google is your friend.

Nothing needs to be added to the //e for color output. It can already drive a composite color monitor. In fact, if your TV can take video input via an RCA jack (not to be confused with the screw-on F connector), you can plug your //e directly into that to test it out, at least.

BTW, monitor has no 'e' in it.
