Hi from Italy!

Hi :)
I'm an IBM fan .. i love x86 machines and i'm collecting PC , manuals and monitors.

I own a 5150 , a couple of 5160 , a 5162 , 5170 , 5140 and monitors.. Guide to operations bought in US and Italy , IBM DOS 1.1 , 2.0 , 2.1 , 3.3 , 5.0 , 6.1.
I've just started to collect PS/2 machines ( currently model 25 -30 -30 286 and some others that need some refurbishment ) and PS/2 note , not so simple to find in Italy ( like the 5155 model ) , especially working unit.

Nice to be there :D

The M24 was sold in the US under a couple different names. It seems
like I recall Tandy sold them as well.
The M20 was more of a business/scientific machine. It used a Z8000
processor although later machine could run DOS by having a 8086
processor on an expansion board.
The M20 ran an OS called PCOS.
Although, sold mostly in Europe, the M20 was designed in Cupertino,
California. It was an expensive machine but many business bought
them, especially in Italy, being an Olivetti product.
I just thought our Italian friend might know of these since they
are a desired machine to collect.

I knew what the M20 was, from last time you went on about no one having a clue ;). I didn't know Tandy sold a version of the M24...Perhaps AT&T wasn't the only... I think I just died a little inside.

Oh, I was kidding about bad spelling by native English-speakers; you non-English-speakers often write better English than we do, and of course most of us don't speak or write any language other than English.

I have great respect for you folks; hard enough to learn about computers when you don't have to translate most of the words, and I am amazed by how many speak English and how well you write.

I was joking, and I didn't feel hurted in any way!!!
I'm here because there aren't italian retrocomputing forums at all and I'd like to share my interests with other people. By the way, it's a good chance to improve my english (this is my first experience in a non-italian forum ;) ).
