Greetings:
As many of you know, I have an IBM Model 8595 (95 XP) that I recently acquired.
I decided to put OS/2 Warp 4 on it and so I decided after upgrading the RAM and putting a bigger 2GB SCSI drive and temporarily a SCSI CD-ROM I am getting an error I999 0010.
This is a microcode error?
In preparation for this I backed up the system partition from the former drive and did a restore on the new SCSI drive but alas it gets this error. My Backup of the system partition (Reference) boots fine and does have the configuration information on it.
What did I miss? Is there something I need to do to the drive (like a low level format) or any other kind of prep or is the drive just bad?
Any help is appreciated.
