Cleaning out my basement

I worked for IBM for many years. Starting in August '81 I specialized on the PC. Now it has come time to clean out my basement. I was literally heading out the door with my PC XT to Good Will when I thought I would check out if anyone collected these things and I found this forum. I don't have a barnload of stuff, but at least one PC XT which likely still works and quite a bit of software and manuals.

I don't particularly want to pack and ship this stuff. I live in Madison, WI. If anyone is close enough that they want to stop and browse, I will hang on to it for a few more days.

The price will be very right. Basically just take it away.

I also have a Commodore PET and accessories. I might want some money for that. I'm still rather fond of it.

I'm in DE though, so there would be shipping involved. If you can't find anyone to pick it up, I'd gladly save up for a week or so to cover the shipping!

Our local Goodwill has a partnership with Dell to recycle PCs, etc.

Better to find a good home for the stuff than to "recycle" it sometimes, isn't it?
