Hello! I recently received a IBM PC 5150 with an upgraded video card. The computer seems in working order, but I think the settings on the video card are wrong. It is a Quadram card, and the only obvious identifiers are the FCC ID which is D2A62LVEGA, and a sticker reading Quadram, 435-0002-04. The 04 is written in pen, not printed on like the rest of this sequence. It lists a copyright 1985 on the sticker, but 1986 on the card itself. I am trying to figure out what the settings on this card are, and any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

It might be more helpful if you tell us what the problem is instead of what you think is the solution.

Hi. To be more specific, my problem is no general video display on the monitor. My card is a little different than the one in Jorg's picture. It looks like this:

I hope this helps. It is a similar card though, thanks.

What kind of monitor are you using? If you got the monitor with the system, is there any way you can make sure it isn't broken (they usually don't like being shipped)?

So, What happens when you just turn the monitor on? does any LED ligth up, can you hear any sounds from the monitor at all, or does nothing happen?

Last, have you made sure Sw1/5 and Sw1/6 on the PC's motherboard are both set to ON?
