Hi guys I'm new here. Recently I found a picture of the first "computer" I had owned. Before that I had a CoCo3. But I'm wanting to figure out the model number I had. If anyone can be of assistance I'd appreciate it.

The specs I remember and information are as follows:

Packard Bell Legend (don't know the #, trying to find out)
486SX 33mhz
4MB of RAM
2X CD Rom Drive
either a 380 or 450mb HD
I don't remember the graphics chip
i believe a 2400 bps modem or maybe 9600
and i believe no PCI slots though i'm not sure.

the front of the case i only remember had a red Intel Inside sticker, it was a table version not a tower.

i know it came with "the sandiego zoo presents: The Animals!", an encyclopedia cd, and a few others. It also had Windows 3.11.

the computer was from either 1993-1995 and bought at Sears. that's all i remember, i will try to post a picture of it later on today, but if anyone can point me in the right direction i'd appreciate it!

If you take a picture, I could probably identify it, since I've had a few Packard Bells pass through my hands over the years....

The specs you mention sound like the legend 843+ I used to have, but the funny part is the Legend I had was an LPX based Tower.

heres the only picture i have sadly, it's kinda blurry :/

Could it be a Legend 2000+ MM? This one is a 486 DX2 50 Mhz though. But I may have upgraded the processor at one point.

looks really close, it could be. i'm trying to remember, it might of been like a 19 something or some garbage. i know it was a Legend something. - actually trying to find the same one i had or close to it to give to my son to see what it was like using floppy disks, dos etc. lol i tried finding some old books on it at the house to see the model # but unfortunately i couldn't find any yet.

some more things i remember is , it had a Packard Bell Navigator, no ski free or fuji golf or any 'cool games' that came with it. - we got it at sears in either 93 or 94/95 for around 1200.00 - i remember i put a Pentium 83mhz overdrive processor in it, and 12 more megs of ram, first thing i tried playing Quake 2 on lol. if anyone has any more info on this please let me know! and tom if that's yours, care to part with it? :)
