Since it is untested it is hard to say. When you know it works 100% it should easily fetch $ 250 to 400 when sold on eBay. It all depends who is buying or not buying when you list it.

Also, when you have the original MCB-1 that was sold with this card (MIDI connector box) and can sell it together with the LAPC-I that will result in a higher ending price as well: especially when you also have the retail box for the MCB-1.

Ok, Thx Peter, well you got me thinking with the whole it depends on control box thing so I did some closet digging, and found both the Mcb-1 MIDI box, and a pair or Roland MV-7 speakers, its been 20 years so like I said earlier, My memory banks ain't what they use to be. I would like to sell altogether but may already have card sold. Anyway I can't do much till this weekend anyway them I guess I need to pick up some antistatic wrap, oh well here's the pics; I have had several people hit up my email and ask about quick sell, not really obviously I have held on to all of this for 20 years and it is all brand new never installed in there boxes also on new condition so Iam in no hurry. I bought this at a time when I had money. Now I make less than 12k a year with a family of three so were well below poverty line. But hey were happy, money isn't everything but I will want to get the most outta of what I have simply cause I have never used, its pristine, I paid a lot mire for it than I will get out of it. And let's face it how often does something come up like this? I will tell you what I need and if for some reason you have and want to trade hit me up. What I need and will trade for is any like new condition GTT glass torch, Phantom, Mirage, or Kobuki, Thx any way here's some more pics...

And a final parting shot....boxed...

og and the speakers are MA-7s, but you probably already new that, thee heeeee he! Stupid smart phone always replacing letters and words.

Cool! Let me know when you are ready for a deal. Since a glass torch you would be looking for would go for about $ 1,500 through 4,000 I do not think that is realistic. The whole Roland set you have would carry about $ 500 to 600. Let me know.

Remember that the card is untested, so $500+ may be a little off...

Most LAPC-I auctions usually end up around $250 regardless if they have the breakout box or not. Sometimes they reach quite high prices on auction sites like Ebay, but that's just because a few people with lots of money really badly want it at the same time, but this does not make out the majority of the listings.

Just take a look at what a nice set this is ... also, if it's really unused (which I assume [can be easily checked by looking at the ISA connector if it has minimal scratches]) ~$450 would be a realistic ebay value.
While LAPC-I cards aren't exactly super rare, they're sought after and decent collector's items.

Perhaps. But assuming the card works this is a rare find.

I want to say Thx to all who replied to the Roland LAPC-I soundcard, Mcb-midi control box, and Ma7 speakers. I had wanted to keep this new set together and I as such a nice gentleman in Northern Cali is now the proud owner. Thx Brotha I will keep In touch and make sure all went well, and will update thread once you have received. Thx again Man I know you will be happy!.

I just want to point out that whenever you sell any item, when you agree to an offer, you agree to fullfill that offer. Therefore NEVER AGREE TO SEVERAL OFFERS WITHOUT INFORMING ALL INVOLVED PARTYS. It's OK if you change your mind about offers, but do remember that buyers can't know this unless you tell them.

Therefore, you should at least inform the original buyer that you got a better offer from somebody else, and that you consider to go in favour of that. If you don't, you may end up with payments and expectations from several buyers. Since it's impossible to fullfill the expectations from all buyers in a situation like this, you really don't want this to happen. Buyers will feel humiliated if their expectations are not met.
