1 GHz 5160 PC

Looks very lame to me. I like when people get creative and build the DVD burner into the 5.25" FH floppy drive case (pop open the latch and insert the dvd like a floppy). When you do the mod and the system looks 100% original but it is not then thats cool. Anyone can hack a case and turn a classic system into something a hick would make.

When I got an IBM Luggable, I modded it out as far as it could go without it looking any different whatsoever.

The original two 5 1/4 drives are there, inside 286 upgrade card (386 Intel Inboard Would be nice if I could actually find one)

The IDE has a 512meg compact flash card on C: and external slot in the back for a flash card as D:

The Video is the best CGA Card I think made for 8 bit, the Graphics Solution.

The IDE card boots no problem into Dos 2000 with the 286 mode turned on.

Technically the only real modern parts are the flash cards, made in 2001 or so, the rest
is vintage.

It reminds me of someone I spoke with in the mid-late 1990's. He had a Pentium 1 system, which was rather desirable back then. When he went to demo and gaming parties, he was afraid it would get stolen, which is why he had stuffed it into an IBM XT case. Not because it was a cool thing to do, but because in the mid 90's nobody would even bother try to steal an old XT, seemingly terribly outdated and lame. Things might be different today, but it all depends on the physical condition of the IBM XT.
