i need a amiga RGB video cable to connect and amiga pc to a amiga rgb monitor. i recently purched a few amigas and RGB monitors. i can get the amiga 1000 to display fine on both monitors via composite and i can get my amiga 3000 to display on a VGA monitor but unfortunitly the A4000 i have only has a RGB port and the cable i have does not seem to function as i can get none of the amigas to display through RGB on either monitor.

Different monitors used different connectors. Which monitor are you looking for a cable for and what connector does it have.
(The main ones commodore used were DB9 Female, DB9 Male, and a 8 pin din connector).

the 2 monitors i have are a 1084S and the other doesnt have a model number. i beleive its an early model that came with the amigia 1000 as its dated nov. 1985 and it has the amiga check symbol on the front. they both have db9 male connectors.

Also, if you've a DB-9 connector, take a 25-pin serial cable and wire it up! You'll have to Dremel off two of the pins to get your 23-pin connector, but it'll work great. (use the 2nd diagram - for the 1080/1084 monitor. Top one is for 9-pin multisyncs)
