So in my father's estate is the above system, he built it back in the late 70s I believed and never really used it, I have yet to go and attempt to power it on so not certain what works and doesn't but from what I remember of the early 80s it seemed to be working.

Curious as to what the market is for a system like this and also if anyone here has one and can share some information on it.

Thanks

Great system. My father had one.

There is a market for them but they are really heavy so shipping is a killer. Printers rarely sell. A quick check suggests $300 for all the items but with a $500+ shipping cost. Announce your location and maybe if you are lucky there is a local collector looking for one. While I hate seeing systems parted out, a list of software could be quite useful and much easier to move.

By any chance do you currently have these listed on eBay?

No, I haven't even collected it from its location, no idea what to do with it yet...figured I would disassemble it, take it to my house, clean it up, test and then take it from there.....

I am not much of a computer collector myself as I deal with modern systems all day at work...just curious as to if there was any interest in a system like this.

Thanks

the h10's go anwhere from 200-900$ depending on whos looking that week
the h11 same thing
if u got software who knows
latly this stuffs been surprising people on various mailing lists for what its been going for

has a h11 and h10 with software and manuals to boot and some sweet extras i've added

That Heathkit stuff is going for more than the Dec stuff that I always thought it was a knock off of! Imagine the good news is that all of our collections are going up in value? Thought if all the old timers like me with their Dec, Novas and Data General Stuff were getting out of collecting that the newer people had no use for this stuff it would be getting cheaper? The real question is when will all my 8080 DOS stuff start gaining value? May have to go get the old Sperry/ Univac 8080 out and set that up in a place of honor, or maybe not. Just like that system because it has the name Univac attached to it.

heathkit does have a fallowing though and this fortay into computing witch was not very long prolly has some collectors wanting them
shame cause i'd like to find a second h10 i can leave at the the hackspace i belong to for a community challange i am working on.
