Repeating texts in PMs.

I've noticed for some time that when I receive a PM from anyone in the forums, I actually mean everyone, the last few words of each line are repeated at the beginning of the next line. It makes reading PMs quite difficult at times. I have tried performing a full set of browser basics, deleted temorary Internet files, reset IE, and FirFox, cleared my computers cache, and even went so far as to completely remove and reinstall IE. (Before trying in FireFox.) The funny part is that it happens on my computer no matter which browser I'm using, the last 25 or so characters are repeated at the beginning of the next line.

This is only occuring in private messaging, not in the forums normal threads.

Is this something in the forums page design, or is there something I missed in my troubleshooting? Got any other ideas?

Thanks

Wow stone! You seem to be everywhere.
Any way, I guess I forgot to mention that when I go to a different computer, everything is fine. So there HAS to be something on this one I'm missing somehow. The site is pretty heavy with JAVE, do you think re... No, because its still happening after I did a complete reinstall of Wingoes 7 Pro 64 bit.

Try it on another computer.

As requested. It alsways shows up in the quick reply box. Everything else is OK. A funny thing too stone is that if I double click on the FIRST set of the duplicate characters, they will disapear leaving a blank, or plain area just as though there was nothing there to begin with.

Like I said, this one is wierd.

Capture an image of one of the defective pages so we can get a good look at it.

I agree... it's wierd. But, somehow, I think it's javascript related.

Down near the bottom of that page... select ... Go Advanced. That's the other message editor. See what happens there.

I didn't say that the advanced editor would work properly...I was just curious to see if maybe it did.

And, I said I think it's javascript related, not java related. Other than those four little letters... j-a-v-a... the two have nothing in common with each other. :)

Trying to follow, but I don't see the problem or am not understanding the problem from the picture. Looks like you have some odd line breaks (could be a font encoding thing) but I don't see the words/characters repeating. This happens in both IE and Firefox on the problem computer?

Look again... it's not just one word... it's entire phrases, maybe 5 words or even 10. That makes it somewhat deceptive or maybe even a bit insidious or evil. :) I.e., the first line is repeated from the word 'value' on. That's 10 words.

Yeah, thanks for catching that stone. Is is every sentance too sometimes. If what I'm replying to has a long quote, then the breaks really get in the way. Maybe I should start only quoting the part the causes me to reply with the original text included. But then sometimes things get taken out of context. It's just an annoyance to me though. It doesn't seem to follow through when I post the reply. Indeed, when the reply is posted, none of the repeated characters or phrases are there.

And yes, it is on both IE and Firefox. If it were just one browser, I wouldn't question it, but since it is happening with both, then that leads to to believe something is nefariouly goofy, and possibly even... EVIL!?! Buuaaahaaahhahhaahahaha.. Ahem sorry, I got carried away there for a second. I've been watching the original Dark Shadows on Netflix.
