If you want to program vintage Macs (before Mac OS X) or need programming tools to inspect and work with older applications created with them, you can get a free, fully licensed copy of CodeWarrior 8.0.

To get a free copy from the current owner, download this RTF file and follow the instructions: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?mdi14j7d5tucab7

Once you have it, you can upgrade to version 8.3 if you like.

I tried that, they responded with this:

Dear Mike,

Thank you for contacting us.
Codewarrior for MAC OS has been discontinued ad is no longer sold or supported, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for your interest in Freescale Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
Should you need to contact us with regard to this message, please see the notes below.

Best Regards,

Yup, I got a reply claiming that it was *never* available for Mac OS... Sounds like you just got lucky and got a sympathetic support person...

No, they have it, but the support person you dealt with doesn't seem to know that. Try referring to SR# 1-886946434
