apple expansion cards

is it a high speed scsi card? apple II 607-0291-B i know the letter is the rom version but whats the diffrence beetween A AND B? is a worth more then b? my question is why does it look diffrent then other scsi cards

This is a the original Apple SCSI card. It's not the latter, DMA-compatible 'High Speed SCSI Card' that most people want. Without the ROM sticker, it would be difficult to ID this as a rev A, B or C. As another person said, it would have to be a rev C to work correctly in the IIGS.

Rev C ROMs *were* available from ReactiveMicro - but you may have to try one of the other vendors to pickup a ROM or burn one of your own. The BIN file is located here: http://www.downloads.reactivemicro.com/Public/Apple II Items/ROM_and_JEDEC/Apple_II_SCSI_Card/
