Looking to sell my SE/30. At first I didn't want to sell it, but since I have a Quadra 610, it serves the purpose for what I wanted it for, playing older Mac games.

Specs - 16MHz 68030, 24MB RAM (Either 20 or 24, I can't remember), 170MB HD, System 7.5.5.

It also has all new capacitors on the logic board, along with new sound output transistors. It also has a new PRAM battery and a good working floppy drive out of a later Mac. The case itself is in pretty good condition, except for one crack on the top of the screen bezel.

I am looking to get $130 plus shipping (which is about $30-40, depending on location).

I will consider shipping outside of the US, but you must be willing to pay the shipping costs involved, which can get expensive due to the size of the box.

PM me if you are interested, and I will send you pictures.

Thanks!

Hmm... strange. No luck on eBay. Popularity of the SE/30 take a sudden downturn?

I'll take $120 plus shipping for it. This is the lowest I can go.

Perhaps some pictures to show folks what the deal includes and that it works? They're pretty common systems AFAIK so you're trying to find that niche of folks who are interested at that price but also don't already have one.

No pics but you list a major case crack (who knows how much larger that will get when it gets shipped).
Recapping + sound chip replacement makes people wonder how bad the damage was.
$120 + shipping for a stock system is a bit much considering how cheap they have been selling on ebay lately, especially with no pictures.

Machines sell in cycles, SE/30's would sell like hotcakes then cool off while people wanted Classic IIs (no idea why), then mac II's got popular and then 950's. Just keep the unit for a while and ride the next wave, of adjust your price down to ditch it now.
