Missing Disks 10, 11, 12 for MS Office 4.5

Are you sure about that version 4.5? Wikipedia mentions 4.0, 4.2, and 4.3, but no 4.5.

And what disk format - 3.5HD or 5.25HD? I think I have a set or two of those disks buried in my box o' disks...

Wesley:

I have a M$ CD with Office & Bookshelf. It was issued for a "new computer only". The version is 4.3 1994 (p/n 6102OEM2). I hope this helps you narrow your search. FWIW, I have it up and running on my latest 386 project.
Also, the next iteration of Office that I am familiar with was "Office 97" (may have been others). I have that too but unable to lay my hands on it at the moment.

There was Office 95 (aka Office 7).

Yep, you are right. I missed that one. According to the Wiki, "Microsoft Office 95, also known as Microsoft Office for Windows 95, released on 24 August 1995,[SUP][3][/SUP] was a version of Microsoft Office designed specifically for Windows 95, succeeding Office 4.3. Office 95 was replaced by Office 97". So, the OP need not be looking for the 4.5 version that does not exist.

Wesleyfurr stands correct. I don't know why they are labeled 4.5 to be honest. Upon running setup its 4.2 that I have. Missing disks 10,11 & 12. Does anyone have an image of those disks they can share?

Sorry for the above confusion on versions.

Just discovered something else...Microsoft apparently released Office 4.2 on 3.5" disks in two different format...regular "high-density" as well as DMF formatted disks. I was making copies of the DMF disks which is a bunch of .CAB files...and found two bad disks in the set. Went digging and found another set, but those disks have individual compressed (like .TX_) files rather than CAB's...
