It might be easier just to do your own SIMM PCB these days, but yes this has all the info you need to do so including pin-out.

Except.... its nearly impossible to mod with SOJ... there just isnt room for cutting and maneuvering traces.

That simplifies searching craigslist. Thanks for the ps/2 manual too. Now I know the exact FRUs!

Well, I get another spare parts for my IBM PS/2: motherboard, ram, floppy and PSU. This another floppy drive seems to be ok, but does not work anyway. Both motherboards I have prints two error codes (162,163) and cannot boot from floppy and boot from hard drive. When I try to format a:, it tells me about formatting 360K. I've replaced cable with new one but it does not help. Dallas chips on both motherboards are modified with external batteries.
So is there chance to fix floppy drive somehow? Should I replace capacitors etc?
