Now you mention it, I did didn't I! I intend to make modern copies on decent M3 disks of all the original owners work disks - something may turn up by way of instructions or an inference of how TLO is used? There are certainly programs he wrote from TLO on some disks I have.
It's all original I think - I can give you pictures, measurements and details on how the side panels fit on to the case etc when the time comes if you like?

Hi Nick, sorry to derail the discussion slightly. I have a 1980 IMS 8000 - I have never seen another enthusiast's IMS system - do you have any pictures online? Sorry, I would have DM'd you but I'm still in moderation since the migration from the old site.
I had one as a kid, one of the more interesting machines I hauled out of the local waste disposal skips in town. I would have lugged it and it's monitor a mile - the length of the station car park, up the grassey bank to the back of Bluehatch, all through that estate and onto the home stretch...
I have worked extensively with Server 2008 R2, both in professional and personal situations - and found it to be utterly stable. I also found Vista x32 to be pretty stable, given a decent amount of RAM and probably a better cpu than it would commonly have been sold with at the time.
