I'm going to easily have over 100 CRT monitors, all in ones like compact macs and TRS-80s and computer bases to ship out.
Up until recently I've just been recycling materials for packing, but I know I'm going to need to invest in some quality materials to make sure stuff doesn't get damaged...
Is the conversion as simple as swapping the black and white tube for a green one? If so, what part numbers should I look for or is there a good source to purchase them from?
TIA
To be honest I don't remember where or when I got this. I dusted it off this morning and when I first turned it on the screen came up completely washed out. I turned it off and back and the screen came up fine each time, several times. I will test it again before shipping it.

I only have one floppy disk and cd.

The power supply in my Compaq Portable 286 has a strange behavior after being turned off. All of the voltage rails drop to zero for a second, then they spike back up for a second, then down and up a couple more times. A high pitched squeak/squeal can be heard every time the voltages spike back...
I just picked up a Portable 286 and after replacing some shorted out capacitors it came to life. It had lost its hard drive type information so I needed to re-run the setup program for it.
According to this document, I felt that it was safe to run the Version 8.00 DP256 setup.exe that I use...
