Guys, The Serial DIN connector on the CoCo is a 4 pin connector while the QuickPrinter II is a 5 pin. The two printer cables I have are 4-pin to 4-pin DIN. Was there a special cable in the day to make the two happy together? Thanks. Cary

Ah, ok. Thanks Pete. It looks like an official RS sticker was placed over the original catalog number designating a D board as pictured here. I am guessing this was done prior to leaving Fort Worth, unless users could bring their original computers in for an upgrade.

Hi All, Just opened up an FD 501 controller for my CoCo and noticed an odd looking, what appears to be ceramic capacitor - see picture. This appears to have failed, though I thought these ceramic caps disintegrate rather than swell. Controller works.
