How was BASIC code entered into the Altair? Where was output displayed?
I saw the (excellent) Apple I exhibit at VCF East this weekend, and was impressed by the idea of using WAV files on phones to substitute for cassette data.
But I'm not sure exactly how this works. Wouldn't the machine need to seek backwards and forwards through the data? A WAV file playing out...
