    TK50 Connector

Depends. I have running TK50/70 drives on the pdp11's here. What's on the tapes?

    PDP-8/S

Only thing I would recommend is using PETG instead of PLA if you want a really strong handle. For a single flip chip I think PLA is fine though.

    PDP-11 and memory confusion

Hm. I seem to recall that DMA on a PMI system goes from device to memory directly (over the Q22 bus with the usual burst mode stuff) and the pdp11/73's cache just snoops the transaction and invalidates any pages in cache that were written to by the DMA device. The double word read trick of PMI...

    PDP-8/S

I've had good luck with CA adhesive with the stuff you rub on the plastic first. Lock-tite sells it, works surprisingly well for a lot of plastics.

Pro-350 RD50 Hard Drive Controller Error

It is a weird controller, no doubt. But maybe the problem is in the RD50; do you have a Gesswin tool to try checking it out or emulating.... well anything better than an RD50?

    DEC units on ebay

Wow, I did not know a VT05 had a 4 slot backplane in it for the logic cards (yes I know it's not Unibus)

    PDP-11/05 Console Adapter V2

That sounds right. When I ran it 30 years ago it had no issues with the DL11, so I must have set that jumper. C

    PDP-11/05 Console Adapter V2

I'm trying to remember: If I have a DLV11 on my 11/05 serving as the console, does that auto-disable the internal one?

    PDP-8/S

Sorry to hear that man. Apparently there's a bunch of assholes out there. Most of my stuff is M series logic, but if you ever get to the point where a spare pdp8/L core is needed let me know. CZ

    11/03 in a BA23

Terry: Appreciate the thought, however if I needed to boot it I could just boot off the RX01's (on the BDV11) then bring up the RQDX3 from a running RT11FB. This is just to figure out if the 4 chips that make up an 11/03 work. Getting to ODT and a few register checks would make me happy, RT11...

    11/03 in a BA23

Quad width one (as in the OP). Likewise the BA23 is a stock one with the first 3 being Q22/CD and the rest Q22 serpentine. The trick as I recall is the 11/03 quad width could (and did back in my original 11/V03 system with the 4 slot quad width Q18/Q18 backplane) used extra pins to do the...

    11/03 in a BA23

Well, what I remember was that the 11/03 has the ability to do external refresh on a few q bus pins that may have been repurposed. Can be disabled I suppose. Also I don't remember if the 11/03 had stuff on the CD pins that would blow up on the CD bus (maybe?)

    MicroRSX RX50 installation disk

Yeah I screwed up, it's a RSTS/E disk. On the Micro-RSX11M+ the install disk is toast. However apparently the other nine disks are a BRU backup. So is it possible to just boot a BRU64K disk, then restore the floppies to a RD51-54 disk to get that version up and running?

    11/03 in a BA23

Quick question: Is it possible to put a quad height 11/03 in a BA23 chassis? If so can it use a 4mb memory board as a normal 64kb 16 bit memory. If so will the RQDX3 work with it? Bonus, can this work with a BDV11 bootstrap in the last slot? Thanks! C

Gotek Floppy Emulator & DEC Pro

There you go. From my Pro380 which I have no problem using Goteks with Flashfloppy firmware.
