    IBM XT Clone Memory Question

I was relating to a colleague my tale about troubleshooting memory issues on a XT clone motherboard with 640K RAM on board. I told him that I had found a defective 256K RAM chip and a defective 64K RAM chip. I said that I had a replacement 256K chip on hand but that I would have to order a 64K...

Has anyone worked with the Model I keyboard circuits?

Typically the results of the keyboard scan are returned in the accumulator of the Z80 CPU. In other words, it’s all internal to the CPU. It doesn’t really exist as something you can pass through a KVM.

    Composite Video

Impressive work! I have two quick questions: 1. How do I "join up the dots" to make my display look like the third picture above? 2. Do I need to explore all the menu options or will I only be getting myself into trouble? Thanks.

    Composite Video

I've tried four different adapters from Amazon (in the range of $10 to $40) without success. My Samsung 55" HDTV displays the composite video from my C1P, but these adapters choke on it. I'm on the lookout for an old 4:3 aspect ratio LCD TV.

    Composite Video

I've recently acquired a vintage computer (specifically on Ohio Scientific C1P) that outputs composite video. Has anyone had success with adapters found on Amazon, eBay and other places that purport to convert composite video to VGA or HDMI? If not, what's an inexpensive way to display a...

Request for Info on Ohio Scientific Keyboard

I recently acquired an OSI C1P on which, alas, the stabilizer for the space bar is missing. If someone who has an OSI keyboard would post a photo showing details of the stabilizer, I'm hopeful I could replicate a stabilizer using a piece of piano wire. Thanks in advance.
