    Zeta sbc v2

Tin/lead solder is good. It’s called multi core because it has multiple cores if flux running through it (like a stick of rock). All good. Your temperature is a bit high but should be fine.

    Zeta sbc v2

One of the pins of the DIL connector bottom right has no solder. What type of solder are you using? What temperature is your iron running at? RS232 socket and ic are not soldered well, as previously mentioned. An easy fix to reflow them. Try a lower serial speed like 9600 baud. Then increase...

Gotek adapter for Full Height Drives (5.25")

Here’s mine. Doesn’t look like a full height drive but fits in the Superbrain nicely. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4675457

My SD Card Hard Drive Emulator

P2000C has a built in SASI interface. Use that, with a SCSI2CF board, as I explain here: https://stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10374

    CP/M stuff Tandy model II

I thought any CP/M computer could run Zork or any other Infocom adventure. You just have to configure for a generic terminal , then they scroll without needing escape sequences. Correct me if I’m wrong…. :) @Roland Huisman P&T CP/M is dead slow to boot. It’s a fine thing but I’d use Lifeboat...

Altering how CP/M 2.2 communicates with 'Storage'

My first thought is that you’re describing a CP/M computer connected to a terminal. Re reading your post, I see the support computer doing I/O and main computer running the programs. Is that correct? If so, this is how the Superbrain works, sort of. It has a second CPU, a Z80, to handle disk...

Help finding PSU for Intertec Compustar

It’s not the battery - that only services the clock. I think the CONFIGUR program is broken or the wrong version for the CP/M variant on the disk. The configuration settings block gets written to the boot track when you exit the program. But, if the CPM isn’t compatible with the CONFIGUR, then...

Help finding PSU for Intertec Compustar

I think there should be no reason your GW cannot write these images. However I (like lots of other people) use an old PC and software like IMGDISK for this purpose. They refer to it as a "tweener" PC.

Help finding PSU for Intertec Compustar

On the SB I, XCONF (uIDE version of CONFIGUR.COM) seems to work properly; so, I can turn the clock on and off and the setting persists after a reboot. Therefore, there's a bug in XCONF on the SB II, which seems odd because they are the same executable. By the way I meant "MASLIN images", not...

Hmmm. Well, those images are what I boot from. Try the Main images.

Try one of these. Both the same, one is imd format, the other a raw img. Programs that begin with X are uIDE utilities, apart from XSUBMIT.COM. SBKERM.COM is KERMIT for the Superbrain.
