I have been involved in hands-on computing since I was ten years old, oringially with a Sinclair ZX81 and one many systems since. By the late 80s I had left the old 8 bitters behind me, and concentrated on IBM compatibles, as was the fashion of the day. Then, sometime in 1997 I started to get the hankering to play Mazogs on a real ZX81 again. It took a long time before I had a fully functional ZX81 with enough memory to play Mazogs, but in the mean time I found many other machines, all of which I had fond and nostaglic memories about. Before I know it, I had a collection.

Today I have approximately 180 computers in various states of repair. While many of the are for parts, to keep the others going, just as many work and are still used today.

One day, I hope to be able to exhibit the old computers, and teach young people about the colourful and controversial history that gave us the computers and networks we have today.
