My parents bought me the Tandy 1000RLX/HD when I was 5, and I still have it to this day (25 years later!). Though it wasn't vintage back then, I've acquired some even older computers in the meantime. My interests lie in learning how to program for them plus hardware enhancements to get them plugged into modern times (e.g. SD cards, Ethernet, etc). I attend the North Dallas Area Retrocomputing meetups quarterly and the AmigaMCCC group occasionally barring any conflicts.

My wife & I ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2013 around an Arduino-based project, and have done hardware-related contract projects for others since then, so we've been around the block in terms of hardware development & manufacturing.
