Any suggestion on this IBM 5295G?

Ultimately, I purchased a monitor with the model number IBM 5555 from the used market. After startup, it is able to display properly. But obviously there are some error. When the floppy disk is inserted, the error code 2000 is displayed in place of the 1115 error code, which is displayed without...

Any suggestion on this IBM 5295G?

Yes. It has a floppy drive. At the moment I have neither a keyboard nor software. The first thing I want to do is make it display something.

Any suggestion on this IBM 5295G?

I just disassembled it again! I think only three signal lines are useful. If they correspond to RGB signals, then there is no h-sync & v-sync signal line. My opinion is that it could be a monochrome graphics card.

Any suggestion on this IBM 5295G?

China is where I'm located. After studying the relevant [docs], I can sure that the 8pin din is a connector for monitor. I found a [converter] on ebay. I made a converter as it did. Sadly, though, that didn't work out. The machine had a blue screen while it was off and blue stripes when it...

Any suggestion on this IBM 5295G?

I got this IBM 5295G by $70. The only documentation I could find was on this Japanese site. It’a on line terminal. It seems to be missing a graphics card. Any suggestions on how to make it work?

    Need help—IBM 5162 can't boot from the XT-CF card!

I haven't purchased a card of this kind yet. Because I'm not sure if an IDE hard drive can be used with this vintage IBM computer.

    Need help—IBM 5162 can't boot from the XT-CF card!

Yes, I had set HD to "none" by using the gsetup program. I think so. But it can't be fdisk & format in dos3.3 or 6.22 on 5162. I now believe that the BIOS is the source of the issue. but it seems that there is no newer version available.

    Need help—IBM 5162 can't boot from the XT-CF card!

My IBM 5162 has a damaged hard drive. Every time, I had to use a floppy to boot it. I recently bought a MINI XT-CF card. However, my IBM 5162 can't boot from it. Using DOS 3.3, I fdisk the CF card and erase all partitions on my Compaq Prolinea 4/50 (which includes a CF-IDE adapter). The CF...
