Disassembling my Z-120 today, I saw it has a 85-2653-1 5Mhz model main board. From what I understand, this should have 192K total in the three memory banks. I know a later 8Mhz board model had 768K on it.
These are TMS4164-20NLJ chip, which are listed as 64kbit / 8KB chips if I read things...
I am intensely interested in seeing how that reproduction project goes. I have a Z-120 that is itching for one of those cards. And yes - at this juncture, I would not be surprised that you have the only functional original left on the planet.

Excellent update! Please let me/us know if the board works as intended. I've got a Z120 all in one that I would love to bring closer to the PC MS-DOS world. Is there a potential for more of those replicas to be produced for the few of us left in the world who could put it to use?
